The Goosey Fund Golf Tournament

Every year, 100+ “golfers” gather to enjoy a day on the links and support The Goosey Fund. It’s certainly not about the quality of play, but rather the quality of laughs and good sportsmanship. The fun-filled day of golf culminates with an Awards Luncheon…and lots of storytelling. This annual fundraiser has become more popular each year.

The Gathering for Goosey

This signature event has become the hottest ticket in Mashpee and serves as The Goosey Fund’s Annual Meeting. It’s a magical evening with friends and family sharing memories, laughs, and happy tears while enjoying a fabulous five-course dinner paired with exceptional wines. An evening not to be missed, it’s sold out every year since it’s inception.

Running with Goosey

Each year a small team of hearty souls takes on the iconic Falmouth Road Race to raise local awareness of The Goosey Fund. This team of diehards weaves it way through Woods Hole and the Falmouth seashore, hoping to finish before the frozen yogurt is sold out at the finish line. A wonderful event…lots of laughs for sure.

The Lauren Mae Fulone Memorial Scholarship Dinner

Each year the Fulone Family invites the current recipients of The Lauren Mae Fulone Memorial Scholarship and their families to a wonderful dinner at Lauren’s favorite restaurant – Siena Italian Grill & Bar in Mashpee Commons. Since Lauren’s memorial scholarship is for four years, this dinner gathers quite a crowd. It’s a warm and wonderful evening where we catch up and hear how everyone’s doing in school and in life.

The Special Olympics

Lauren was a big supporter of the Special Olympics and worked with her senior class to have The School Day Games hosted at Mashpee High School. Teams from across Cape Cod & The Islands decend on MHS for a day of field games, sportsmanship, and friendship. It’s a heartwarming event hosted by local sportscasting personalities. The medals are given out by Mashpee’s Finest…of course we’re talking about the fine men and women of the Mashpee Police Department.
